Adam Armstrong

I am excited to share that I will be traveling back to Nicaragua with Exodus 17, in partnership with Chosen Children Ministries, known for its outstanding humanitarian work and church-planting efforts. This trip holds a special place in my heart as we aim to make a lasting change to the lives of those we reach on this journey.

So it came about when Moses held his hand up, that Israel prevailed, and when he let his hand down, Amalek prevailed.” Exodus 17:11

Exodus 17, a dedicated non-profit, has a goal of establishing and empowering transformational communities throughout the world. In Nicaragua’s rural towns, where poverty affects many, local churches - often led by passionate but untrained believers - serve communities eager for spiritual growth, despite the region’s small Evangelical Christian population.

This mission trip includes:

  • Building a home with a latrine for a family without shelter.

  • Hosting a day camp with crafts, games, and Bible teachings for over 75 children.

  • Providing leadership training to 120 community leaders across 30 Neighborhoods.

But Moses’ hands were heavy. Then they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it…” Exodus 17:12

My support goals for this mission trip are threefold

  1. Spiritual Support: Your prayers are invaluable - for our team's safety,
health, and success, as well as for the hearts of those we meet. Pray for
open minds to our message and for continued strength in our efforts.

  2. Tax-Deductible Donations: To fund my journey to Nicaragua, I need to
raise $2,300. Your financial support will enable me to serve as a messenger
of hope in this community. Contributions can be sent by clicking the button below or sent to the below mailing address and will directly impact our mission.

  3. Non-Tax Deductible Contributions: I'm also seeking support to purchase
tools like gloves, measuring tapes, and cleaning supplies to bring to
Nicaragua. These will be gifted to Chosen Children Ministries to benefit local
workers and improve all collective efforts on-site.

“...and Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side and one on the other. Thus his hands were steady until the sun set.” Exodus 17:12

We are set to depart on September 27, and we would greatly appreciate your response by July 31. Please reply as your faith or generosity guides you. Thank you in advance for your support. I will keep you updated on our preparations and would be honored to pray for any intentions you may have.

So Joshua overwhelmed Amalek and his people...” Exodus 17:13
