Hi friends and family, 

I hope everyone is doing well, and thank you for taking time to read this letter!

This October, I have the privilege of going on a mission trip to Nicaragua with an organization called Exodus 17! Exodus 17 focuses on practical outreach and spreading the Gospel while doing this. This is the second year I will be going on this trip, and I’m excited to see what impact we can have this year. We will fly into Managua, Nicaragua on October 17 and stay until the 24th. While we’re there, we will stay at a campus owned by the ministry we partner with, Chosen Children Ministries. I’m so excited to get this opportunity!

Nicaragua is currently one of the poorest countries in Latin America. While the cost of living is significantly lower than it is in America, the majority of people live in poverty. Housing often consists of makeshift shacks that lack basic utilities. While we’re there, our team will be focused on building a couple of houses for families that need them. After building each day, we will run a VBS for kids nearby. Both of these opportunities address practical needs and give our team the opportunity to remind people of the heart that the Lord has for them. 

I have felt drawn to go on this mission trip again, as it has been something God has laid on my heart. Seeing the impact the Lord had last year when using our team was beautiful. I am excited to see what He does this year!

The biggest support I can use is prayer for the people we meet, for safe travels, and for God’s Word to be spread! I would greatly appreciate you to partner with me in prayer.
