Dear friends and family,

We wanted to share with you a missions trip we’re going on this summer. This will be our first missions trip together in over 20 years (and maybe our last 😊)

We are excited to be part of a team serving in Nicaragua with Jered and Jess’s non-profit ministry Exodus 17 September 27-October 4.

Nicaragua has a large, poverty-stricken population, most of whom live in small rural towns. Churches are often led by faithful believers with little or no formal training. While Nicaragua has the smallest percentage of Evangelical believers in all of Central America, the people are very open to the Gospel.

Exodus 17 assists existing movements that help transform individual lives and communities around the world. In Nicaragua we’re partnering with Chosen Children Ministries (ccm.life) which is run by nationals and does incredible work planting churches and humanitarian aid. Exodus 17 is enhancing this movement through its wholistic support, which is where our team comes in.

On this trip we will be

• building a home for a homeless family

• leading a Vacation Bible School with crafts, games, and Bible teaching for 80-100 underprivileged kids

• providing leadership training for about 120 pastors and leaders of the

  churches and humanitarian efforts in 30+ barrios.

Will you pray for us, our team, and the people of Nicaragua? By praying you will be an integral part of our team as prayer is crucial for success in sharing the gospel, in our service and our safety.

Also, will you partner with us financially? The trip is only $2,300 per person which covers airfare, travel, food, lodging, building materials, and supplies for the leadership training. Your support means we will be able to serve as God's ambassador in this needy region.
