I am writing to you today with a heart full of anticipation for an opportunity I have this Fall. In late September, I will travel to Nicaragua with Exodus 17 on a short term mission trip. I am thrilled that Kylie is also feeling led to go. This will be such a bonding experience for us to serve together!

God has given me a desire to serve with Exodus 17 who is partnering with Chosen Children Ministry in Nicaragua to build homes and organize a day camp for local children. Nicaragua faces significant hardships due to poverty.

We will be God’s hands and feet as we serve, while growing deeper in our own faith. I have often thought about the trips I took to Mexico years ago building a church, and another trip building a home for a local family. On the trip in 2001, a family of four stands out in my mind because of their poverty and lack of housing. We had the opportunity to build a one room house with a single light, and they were so grateful! 

I am writing to ask for you to partner with me on this journey! In order for this trip to happen, I sincerely need your prayerful support. I am looking for 20 people to commit to praying for us. We specifically need prayer for the community we will be serving, travel details, and safety.
