As a board member of Exodus 17, I’m committed to bringing hope and healing to those with little or no access to essential medical and dental care. This fundraiser supports our mission to provide life-saving services through compassionate, community-based clinics.

The profound truth of James Baldwin's words, "Anyone who has ever struggled with poverty knows how extremely expensive it is to be poor," echoed a feeling I carried within me since childhood. It's evident in how an untreated knee problem today can become back surgery tomorrow, or how a small cavity left unattended evolves into a costly root canal. As a child I was given such help, I am passing it forward.

Hearing about the great medical, dental and optical needs of the people in Tanzania really touches my heart. Many of the things we take for granted they can only dream about and hope for. These clinics provide treatment for many who are in dire need and will impact their lives for time and eternity. I’m grateful to be part of helping raise funds to make them happen.

I'm excited to raise funds for Tanzanian locals because I really feel for kids and elderly people who need essential care, but can't get it without our help. Thanks!

I love saying “yes” to the Lord whenever He calls me to serve, so when I was invited to participate in a medical/dental clinic in Tanzania I jumped at the opportunity. I’m not trained in medicine, nor have I been to Africa, but I know what to expect: God will show up in might ways, and I’ll have the privilege of using my small gifts of service to help reach people for Christ.

I've always found that God has called me to fundraise for and sponsor those in need across the world. This mission speaks to my heart and I'm excited to be a part of it.

For me, when asked to do service work my answer is always "Yes" and then I figure a way to make it happen. It's the same thing when it comes to financial requests. My belief and trust in God has led me to this although is took me many years. We have it so good in this country that I cannot not want to help those in need in Tansania with donations to Exocus 17. Please join me helping those in need of medical assistance.
